The Great Change and Financial Permaculture
On his blog: The Great Change, Albert Bates highlighted Financial Permaculture in the context of the currect financial crisis.
“Hard to imagine going further into an economic mess than we already are, but get ready, from here on out, it’s all downhill. I recently told a radio interviewer to think of it like an avalanche. You turn downhill and ski as fast as you can. What I meant was, get out of the stock market, secure your food supply, water supply, look after your neighbors, and prepare for the worst.
This past couple weeks, it seems like most people are doing exactly that.
On October 24-28, in our county seat of Hohenwald, Tennessee, we will bring together some of the pre-eminent post-apocalytic thinkers to begin work on a transition methodology we are calling Financial Permaculture.”

came down from Bentonville, AR about two-weeks ago and believe I was the first one here for the workshop. Have been staying at a local campground several miles from the ecovillage. Am a good idea person. Personable. Have next to little fiat currency. Do you have a way I can attend the workshop with a fair unit of exchange?
Have been from Miami, to Michigan to locate a happy community based on human equity. Is there a solari community based near Plano, TX, or near Hohenwald. Have made an extensive journey to get where I need to be.
Thank you for any suggestions.

Hi,
I am looking for a ride from Nashville to Hohenwald on the afternoon of the 23rd (arriving at 2:30pm) or morning of the 24th. And back to Nashiville by 11am the 29th. Is anyone looking to share a ride? Otherwise I think I will book the shuttle.
Thanks!

I’ve done an embedded PowerPoint Presentation on my analysis of the Financial Stunami vs. Financial Permaculture that might contribute a holistic view of the causes / effects / possible (short & long term)solution. Detail available on my blog http://www.sohominium.blogspot.com
